Schlong Show | Death Cock | MDW Fair

Join myself and a cast of diverse artisans for our opening 1st installment of Schlong Night at Chicago’s MDW Fair.  KARP and BEERY have teamed up under the moniker BroLabs to produce a diabolically ostentatious installation titled Death Cock “death by phallus” for the 2012 media center menagerie. Schlong represents a collective of male organ inspired artworks produced by several Chicago based artists. From illustrative paintings, men’s fashion-wear, software engineered to tell you which way you hang, to culinary sausage art and mixed media fabrications Schlong is packed with third-eye candy from wall to wall.

Born from the black metal cockles of the creative duos symbiotic intrigue for heavy lucific layers and the dark side Death Cock is the first of two installations produced in the theme of ‘death by phallus’. Relating the bestial side of Sex and the omnipotent scathing of hormonal overdrive ‘death by phallus‘ is an enigmatic approach on defining a graphic impedance on the stigmatic male sexual regal. Bad to the bone attitude and a maniacal cheat on the horny lust of male pattern sexual rage. A semi-utilitarian piece finished with a detailed enamel that reflects the transition in mood so created by the male carnal mind and sporting lengthy organic appendage. Death Cock is an extension of the libidinous and ubiquitous eroticism deeply embedded in the fibers of salacious human nature and culture.

BroLabs Design Co. was established by two veteran designers Kevin Rodgers aka KARP and Nick Beery aka BEERY METHOD exploring a mission to create a higher level of aesthetics to clientele who desire unique custom integration with traditional & digital media for branding and personal effects.
