For the past year I’ve had the pleasure of putting together a series of holiday illustrations for Cars101 which specializes in the sale and collective information of Subarus in the Pacific NorthWest. Site manager and director Joe Spitz is always a blast to work with. His love for graphic novels and a dark sense of humor always allowed room for me to create illustrations that reflected these virtues as well as present a comedic effect. Referencing stylizations similar to R. Crumb and children’s book simplicity bled into this series which appeared throughout the week or month of the respective holiday season. These illustrations are a glimpse into the style of work I sometimes produce for clients who require a quick hand drawn feel.
