Sequential Art: Vault of Cthulhu - Nick is currently collaborating with sci-fi writer Scott Beem and colorist Zac Atkinson on the long awaited 'Vault of Cthulhu'. The first arc of issue #1 is winding to a finish and will be featured at the Chicago comic-con in August. This particular series delves deep into the Cthulhu mythos created by the original author of the macabre H.P. Lovecraft. The series involves original short-story arcs that spin off adaptations of sub-stories within Lovecraft's eerie world. The first issue titled "In Her House" involves a New Zealand police inspector and CIA agent investigating a mysterious crime taken place aboard a small derelict ship. Besides the traditional detective comic feel the story throws some curves involving a strange statue, a cult of misfits, murder at sea, and a horrid ethereal being.
